Wilma J. Lopez has traveled and lived extensively throughout the world, including Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Central America, and the Caribbean. She has worked with a variety of media; however, in the last ten years she has devoted herself exclusively to the encaustic wax art process.
Wilma's works have been exhibited and sold on both the east and west coasts of the United States as well as in several other countries. She served on the board of the La Jolla Art Association.
Artist Statement: Through my encaustic paintings I try to create unique original works that perfectly balance my knowledge of color and technique.
