About the Artist

I am a bronze sculptor, designer and gallery director. I sculpt abstract, figurative, portrait and botanical 3-dimensional and bas relief bronze sculpture. I sculpt and exhibit my own work from my studio in San Diego. I also sculpt for local designers and public and private commissions. I sculpt in clay or wax and then cast my finished work in bronze at Fire-Art Foundry. I am the in-house sculptor and designer for locally owned and operated Fire-Art Foundry which has served San Diego bronze artists and fine art collectors since 1984. I am also the Gallery Director of Fire-Art Foundry Sculpture Gallery. I regularly exhibit works at the San Diego Sculptors' Guild in Spanish Village and the San Diego Art Institute, both in Balboa Park in San Diego. My commissioned bronze bas relief portrait of Judge Louis M. Welsh is installed at the Hall of Justice in downtown San Diego; my bronze bas relief portrait of Capt. Spishock is installed at the Naval Library in San Diego and my bronze bas relief portrait of the Honorable Leon Williams is installed on the grounds of the County Administration Building in San Diego.

I recently completed a commission for the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Golf Tournament in which I sculpted an 8" bust of Frank Sinatra and cast 39 of them in bronze as trophies for their 17th Annual Frank Sinatra Celebrity Golf Tournament.

I have curated and installed the following exhibitions at Fire-Art Foundry Sculpture Gallery: "Looking for Peace on Earth"; " Wild Things - Fun to Ferocious"; Synergy - Energy & Motion"; and "Reflections - Color, Space & Time".
