Residing in La Jolla, California, Katherine has carved a niche with unique color combinations and interesting subject matter. Her passions often grace her paintings. She derives her inspiration from music, dance, sports, and the rich landscape of places where she has lived, visited, and worked. Her emphasis is on color and form, the mystical images that liberate the unconscious mind and embrace an abstract, passionate expression of feelings, mood, and spontaneity of romantic themes.
Having studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Katherine's solid education provides the foundation for her adventurous, often whimsical reflections on life. Currently, her work is on display in numerous select galleries in Southern California, as well as in private collections in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
