Jo worked many years in oil and acrylic. Her focus is now on watercolor. She feels that the spontaneity, surprises, and transparency of watercolor lend excitement to each endeavor. Currently, she combines watercolor, acrylic, and collage in some of her paintings of flowers, landscapes, seascapes, and abstracts.
